Reporting

We use GPS data in conjunction with check-in and check-out times to ensure precise visit tracking. This enables us to bill clients accurately for the time spent on jobs, improve predictions for delivery and visit times for customers, and effectively monitor check-in and check-out activities.

Privacy notes

• Your location is only recorded at check-in and check-out, and at no other time.
• Location data is used to provide accurate delivery estimates and visiting times to customers.
• Location tracking can only occur when the app is open and in the foreground, e.g. it is impossible to track in the background.
• Location information is linked to a specific visit, not to your personal profile, so it cannot be used to track your movements outside of work, or even outside a check-in or check-out action.

How it works

• If your account is opted-in, the Kitt Ops app will prompt you to allow access to your location data while using the app.
• Upon accepting, your coordinates (latitude and longitude) will be recorded along with your check-in and check-out times.
• No other coordinate data will be saved.
